Davido, 9ice and Olamide
The Federal Government of Nigeria has urged the ban of some tracks of some Nigeria's famous artists through the aid of the  National Broadcasting Corporation(NBC).
Earlier on, NBC team was really up with a plan of banning Olamide's new hit track and anthem "WO", Davido's latest Mind Blowing tracks "FALL" & "IF" and as well as 9ice's track "Living Things" but had later come up with their decision to officially ban the listed tracks.
These issues came up few days ago after the Federal Ministry of Health officially posted about the irregular activities which was included in the video shot in all the listed tracks. The NBC on their opinion says the video portrays a bad message that encourages a second-hand smoking of Tobacco.
Probably, as these tracks are already banned, it means it won't be aired to us any longer. So we Urge you to download these Videos before it totally makes its way back to the back cover of the artist.

The new digital service – aimed at younger and female audiences – will also feature BBC Minute, broadcasting six times a day, with a round up of the world in 60 seconds available online and social. New programming will also feature a specially commissioned drama which will illustrate the beauty of the language and the fun people have in following the language.
The World Service Director Francesca Unsworth said, “For more than eighty years the BBC World Service has brought trusted news to millions across the globe. I’m delighted that millions of people in Nigeria and beyond, will be able to access the BBC in such a popular language as Pidgin.”
Bilkisu Labaran, the Editorial Lead, said, “We are so proud to be launching the BBC’s first digital service in Africa. Pidgin is the language spoken among so many people across West and Central Africa and for the first time we will be connecting with the next generation of speakers. Pidgin is the common thread in the region, the language of unity spoken by people from all walks of life, and we are excited at the prospect of providing this service.”
The BBC Pidgin will aim to serve a younger audience and women with social media playing a key role. In addition to news and current affairs, there will be extensive coverage of culture, entertainment, entrepreneurship, science & technology, health and sport – including the English Premier League.
Pidgin is spoken by 75 million people in Nigeria alone, with additional speakers in Cameroon, Ghana, and Equatorial Guinea. It is primarily an oral language, without a standard agreed written form. "I have spoken to a number of high-ranking courtiers who made it clear that preparations for a transition are moving ahead at pace," royal commentator for the Daily Mail, Robert Jobson, said.
"They have all confirmed that a Regency with Charles taking the lead is now, at the very least, a real possibility."
The act would grant the Queen's eldest son full power to reign even while she still lives.

According to the Mail, one senior former member of the Royal Household said:
"Out of the profound respect the Queen holds for the institution of monarchy and its stewardship, Her Majesty would want to make sure that she has done everything she can for her country and her people before she hands over. She is dutiful to her core.
"Her Majesty is mindful of her age and wants to make sure when the time comes, the transition of the Crown is seamless.
"I understand the Queen has given the matter considerable thought and believes that, if she is still alive at 95, she will seriously consider passing the reign to Charles."
Queen Elizabeth II who ascended the throne in 1952 is Britains longest reigning Mornach. If she passes the throne to Prince Williams, he will become the oldest-ever UK monarch to be crowned.

But if he also decided to abdicate, the throne would be passed on to his eldest son, Prince William, who is currently second in line.

A 12-year-old rape victim was told by the headmaster of a Christian school "to turn the other cheek" and that "everything in God's kingdom happens for a reason".

The school is being accused of covering up repeated sexual assaults against the boy, downplaying the attacks and refusing to report a rape in a lawsuit that is seeking at least $30m  in damages.

The mother of the boy, who attends Brentwood Academy, a prestigious private school in Williamson County in Tennessee, filed the lawsuit in which she also accuses four eight-grade students, then 14 and 15-years-old, of having repeatedly sexually abused her son when he was in the sixth grade in 2014/15.

In the court documents, the mother of the anonymous victim, named as John Doe, claims the older students would force their genitals in her son's face and mouth and sexually harass him in the school's locker room in front of other students.

One boy allegedly "would place his penis before plaintiff John Doe and forcibly penetrated it into the mouth of John Doe without consenting claiming 'eat it, eat it, eat it, open your mouth, accept it'", the lawsuit alleges.

The same student is also accused of having anally raped the then 12-year-old boy. He allegedly boasted to the basketball team that he "f***d that boy up the ass and stuck a Gatorade bottle in him".

Throughout the academic year, the four students repeatedly intimidated, harassed and bullied John Doe, the lawsuit claims.

When John Doe talked about the incident to the school headmaster Curtis H Masters, he allegedly told him he needed to "turn the other cheek and that "everything in God's kingdom happens for a reason".

He added that staff had been speaking about installing cameras in the locker room and that in the meantime he could change in his office.

When John Doe's mother approached school employee Chris Roberts, a member of Christian counselling ministry Daystar Counselling, he responded: "reporting this may not be the best thing to do.... this isn't how Christian institutions handle these things", the lawsuit claims.

She also met with the school headmaster Masters to report the incidents of bullying and sexual harassment against her son but the court documents claim he allegedly considered that this was a matter of "boys being boys and he could not investigate each of those and run a school".

“Our highest priority is the safety and protection of our students. We take any allegation involving our students very seriously,” Masters said in a statement to local paper The Tennessean.

“We responded immediately and fully cooperated with authorities when we became aware of concerns in 2015.”

A Nigerian Billionaire 'Mike Adenuga' was recorded  by Forbes Magazine to have earned an increase of $2.7 billion to $5.8 billion in his net worth after the 2016 round up of his income on December 31. According to Forbes, they said no other African billionaire added more than $1 billion to his or her net worth.

Mike Adenuga has been making real cash from Nigerian Oil and also a Telecom Tycoon.

Aliko Dangote , The African richest man is a well Nigerian who has been making money from so many diversity of money growing businesses. Has many industries in different state in Nigeria producing so many things and earns alot from it but was not able to make a profit such as the level Mike Adenuga last year rather he decreased. Aliko was recorded to have decreased by $5 billion. He worth $25 billion in the year 2014 but after 2016 round up he worth $12.4 billion. The fact still remain despite his loss he was still ranked as the richest in Africa and still unbeaten.

According to Forbes
While Aliko Dangote is still Africa’s richest man by far, he’s not as rich as he used to be. In February 2014, his fortune hit an all-time high of $25 billion. Today, he’s just worth half of that. FORBES estimates that he is currently , down from $17.2 billion this time last year on the back of a Central Bank devaluation of the Naira, Nigeria’s currency, in June. Having shed $4.8 billion off his fortune within the last 12 months, Dangote is Africa’s biggest billionaire loser in dollar terms in 2016

On Mike Adenuga
"The increase in Adenuga’s net worth is largely due to new information Forbes obtained in 2016 about the value of his assets. Adenuga owns Nigerian telecom company Globacom and Nigerian oil company Conoil Producing. While Adenuga's net worth has increased since the beginning of 2016, it has dropped significantly since March 2016, when FORBES valued his fortune at $10 billion on the 2016 Billionaires List. Since then, his net worth has dropped $4.2 billion, due to the devaluation of the Nigerian Naira and the country's struggling oil sector. Adenuga was the only Nigerian billionaires whose net worth increased this year. (Aliko Dangote, the richest Nigerian and Africa's richest man, saw his fortune drop nearly 28% to $12.4 billion over the course of 2016.)"

The Federal Government will soon release a new blueprint to
reposition the country’s insurance industry, Minister of Finance,
Mrs Kemi Adeosun has said.

The minister announced this at the 38th Annual General Meeting
and Education of West Africa Insurance Companies Association,
WAICA, in Lagos yesterday.
Adeosun, who was represented by Mrs. Patience Oniya, a
Director in Efficiency Department in the Ministry of Finance, said
the country’s Insurance Industry was part of the current
government’s plan to diversify the economy and said the new
blueprint would change the face of the industry.
“As part of efforts to reposition the industry, and make it play a
more critical role in the economy, government has inaugurated a
committee on the Review of the Insurance (Consolidated) bill.
This committee is expected to submit its findings soon for proper
action to be taken,” she said.
She called on insurers to support the committee to achieve
growth for the industry.
Adeosun also said government would support the industry to fill
its capacity gap, noting that not too long from now, its
contribution in Gross Domestic Product, GDP, which at present
was lower than one per cent would increase.

Earlier, Commissioner for Insurance and Executive Secretary,
National Insurance Commission, NAICOM, Mr. Mohammed Kari,
said though the future of the sector was hard to predict, there
was need to be prepared at all times.
He said insurers were faced with the challenges of new
businesses, changing laws and regulation among others.
, stressing notwithstanding these challenges, there was enough
potential for positive growth of the insurance sector in West
Africa.

“However, these growths would be achieved given the
collaborative efforts of the players, regulators and governments
in the regions. The potentials I see are not limited to some
prospective demands for insurance products but for the
operator’s collective efforts to address common issues that were
hitherto seen as individual’s problems,” he said.

The President of WAICA, Mr Ivan Avereyireh in his opening
speech called for collaboration between West African supervisory
Authority (WAISA) and WAICA for the development of member
