Seven police officers killed by armed robbery suspects in Abuja.

Seven policemen were killed during a shootout with armed robbery suspects at Galadimawa roundabout in Abuja last night. According to reports, the robbery suspects were trailing a car when they ran into the police officers at a checkpoint.

The police officers engaged the suspects in a shootout that lasted an hour.
